We invite you to join us for the second annual Google in Education Rocky Mountain Summit to be held at Monarch High School in the Boulder Valley School District on August 13 & 14, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education (and other Google Tools) to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education.

The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Dana has been a District Instructional Technology Specialist for the past eleven years in Colorado. She leads professional development, instructs online classes, team teaches and models technology integrated best practices with teachers. She is part of Littleton Public Schools Inspired Writing project that has been recognized nationally and has helped transform how Littleton teachers and students use technology to help leverage their content standards. She has also been involved in a variety of professional organizations during these years including Technology Leadership Forum (TLF), Education Technologists of Colorado (ETC) and as a volunteer for (ISTE) and Technology in Education (TIE). Prior to moving to Colorado in 2000 she worked for Rice University's Pre College Science Education Programs and for the Houston Independent School District as a middle school science teacher. “Keep focused on the desired outcome rather than the technology and you’ll make good decisions.”
