Flipped Professional Development with TechSmith

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Sure, professional development can be painful - but it doesn't have to be! Learn how you can take control of your own learning and leverage the expertise of your colleagues (and perhaps more importantly, students) to build a model that breaks the 'one size fits all' mold of PD as we know it. This session will focus on using video to create PD modules, but just like in the flipped classroom - it's not all about the videos. It's about building a learning community that continues to support teacher development beyond just a half day in-service here and there.

This session will feature the use of TechSmith screencasting tools like Jing, Camtasia, and Snagit to create and share videos to YouTube, but any screencasting software or video hosting platform can be used.
