Have you always imagined how nice it would be to have your own class website but figured it was more trouble than it’s worth? Have you ever thought how great it would be for your students to have their own digital portfolios? Do you ever pull your hair out when students are absent on those crucial days, wondering how you’re going to find the time to catch each one of them up on what they missed? Let Google Sites help you. Learn how to create your own Site and get some ideas for what to put on it. Also learn some strategies for managing student sites that you help them create. Finally, learn how to make webcasts, to be hosted on your site, that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as catching up absent students, differentiation, and re-teaching of crucial skills.
