Blogger: Audience and Purpose For All

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

As your students begin to present their work online, they’ll need a place to show it off. Think of your brand new Classroom Blog as the place parents, past teachers, community members, friends, and family to go to see the work of the students. It’s also a place for announcements, homework, assignments, and everything amazing happening in your classroom. There is no substitute for providing your students with a real audience and an authentic purpose for their work. In this session, you’ll learn how to create, edit, and really pump up your Blog. As your site grows, you’ll see that it is the jump off-point for your students, but the splash landing page for your audience!
