Inspired Writing - “Literacy is the ability to write in the medium in which one reads.”

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

21st Century Writing: Writing is no longer just words. Images, links, videos, timelines, audio are all media that help tell a story. Students ability to use multiple types of media to tell their story empowers them to choose the media that best leverages their viewpoint and style to get their story told. Start thinking of media as an essential part of the story/paper rather than an optional piece to add.

Inspired Writing is Littleton’s nationally recognized project that empowers teachers to leverage online tools to support students when writing on a device (prewriting, drafting, editing, publishing, evaluating ). Google tools are the foundation of this project. Come see the comprehensive resources we use to support: our teachers, writers with multiple learning styles, students that need scaffolding and all writers that need to be challenged with extensions.

Be ready to use your device to record your voice to capture your writing, use a variety of online writing resources and try out a multitude of free publishing options.
