We invite you to join us for the second annual Google in Education Rocky Mountain Summit to be held at Monarch High School in the Boulder Valley School District on August 13 & 14, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education (and other Google Tools) to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education.

The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Getting going with Google sites, with a focus on using sites with elementary students. Focuses on the beginning steps to starting a Google site, keeping it simple so you can use the same steps with your students. Also focuses on advice and tips for teaching young students how to research on the web safely, as well as publish their work to the web. Includes internet safety and locating/citing open source images.

Easily transferred to middle and high school levels, but simple enough for third graders.
