We invite you to join us for the second annual Google in Education Rocky Mountain Summit to be held at Monarch High School in the Boulder Valley School District on August 13 & 14, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education (and other Google Tools) to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education.

The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Dana has been a District Instructional Technology Specialist for the past fourteen years in Colorado. She guides professional learning opportunities, team teaches and models effective technology integrated practices with teachers. She is part of Littleton Public Schools Inspired Writing project that has been recognized nationally and has helped transform how Littleton teachers and students use technology to help leverage their content standards. She has been involved in a variety of professional organizations TLF, ETC, ISTE EdTech Coaches, InnEdCo, CCIRA, Gafe Summits and the TPACK Symposium. Prior to moving to Colorado she worked for Rice University's Pre-College Science Education Programs and for the Houston Independent School District as a middle school science teacher. “Keep focused on the desired outcome rather than the technology and you’ll make good decisions.”
